My Curly Q Scarf in Progress

Well, it has been awhile since my last post! I have been busy with personal stuff, but I am now back to my KWON! Here is a picture of my Curly Q scarf started.

I am using the In the Attic yellow flexible loom, and Isela's Curly Q pattern, which is way easy to do. http://isela.typepad.com/loomknitting/curly-q-scarf.html

I am using a yarn that is textured and I think this gives it a lot of interest as well as the curl. You have to knit about a foot or so to start seeing the curl, but believe me it is so much fun to do.

I really like this method!

Brownie the Horse

My newest character scarf creation. One of my clients requested a horse scarf, so I had to come up with one. This is my first attempt and not too shabby if I do say so myself.

Beige Marl Felted Handbag Update

Just wanted to show you all a photo of the handbag in progress. I have knitted the bottom of the bag with just the Natural Mix, then I am continuing with the Beige Marl to finish it.






I am planning on having a flap closure with added beads to give the closure some weight. I am still not quite sure how I am going to do the handles yet.

As you can see I am using my 30" Versatile AJAL from Decor Accents. I absolutely love this board.

Forever Blowing Bubbles or Bobbles Scarf

This is such a cute scarf and I really want to try it. However, where to find those little balls you need. Well, never fear...I have found these little balls that will work perfectly. You get them at Hobby Lobby or Michaels in the cake decorating section. They are called Balloons Cake Decorations. They are about $2.66, at least that was the price at my local Hobby Lobby. You get 3 balloon sets per package and the little balls just pull off. There are 36 little balls (balloons) in each package. So, you'd have 72 to use for the scarf and I think that would be plenty. Here is a photo!



The pattern calls for 1 inch balls, which would be the size of a quarter. These are the size of a dime, maybe a little bigger. I think they'll work great! I will let you know...
