You can see that you can make them with any yarn. They are just so much fun to make. They also work up so quickly. Once you start you won’t want to stop. You can use up all of those left over yarns to make tons of Wiggleworms.

Make up one for each of your children or grandchildren. Make one for each child in your school class or Sunday School class. Have fun coming up with names for them

These are made using a very simple method, using a knitting rake, loom or one side of your knitting board. This method is described in detail with photo's for each step. Depending upon your experience level, you can make one in less than an hour!

Always A Work In Progress

I just wanted to brag on my daughter, Jennifer. She is now 25 and living in St. Petersburg, Florida. She decided that she wanted a change in her life and moved to Florida sight unseen in June of 06. I think she was very brave to do this. She moved in with a friend from high school, Jessica and another friend, Katie. After one week there, she got a great full time job and seems to be very happy.

She is very talented in my opinion as a writer. She has always had a talent for anything dramatic. She acted some in high school, but never took to that, like she did writing. Anyway, she has a blog, (Always A Work In Progress)
where she can post all of her writings. She has so many books started, and just doesn't seem to have the time to finish them.

This should give her the opportunity and desire to work on them again. I have helped her start her blog, and post some of her work. I am sure that you will agree that she really does have a talent for making the words come to life. She has a great imagination, and I am sure that she will someday be a great author. Of course I am biased on that issue. LOL

Black Lab Character Scarf

My Curly Q Scarf in Progress

Well, it has been awhile since my last post! I have been busy with personal stuff, but I am now back to my KWON! Here is a picture of my Curly Q scarf started.

I am using the In the Attic yellow flexible loom, and Isela's Curly Q pattern, which is way easy to do. http://isela.typepad.com/loomknitting/curly-q-scarf.html

I am using a yarn that is textured and I think this gives it a lot of interest as well as the curl. You have to knit about a foot or so to start seeing the curl, but believe me it is so much fun to do.

Now you can see the curling of it starting to show...

I really like this method!
